Vidhi Sood, a co-founder of Be the Change, is a student at UWCSEA Dover, studying Global Politics, Economics, English, Biology, Math, and Hindi Literature. Vidhi is a go-getter both academically and beyond, and since May 2022 she has been awarded a total of 7 academic awards, including Commendation Awards, and Academic Excellence. Outside of her interests academically, Vidhi was recognized for her contribution to the Tabitha Global Concern in May 2022 with a Commendation Award, and was the only student to receive the High School Boarding Award in May 2023.
Vidhi’s passion for community service is evident in the roles she has undertaken in recent years. She has been associated with organizations such as the High School Helpers in Infant School Program, The Initiative for Peace, The Big Brother/Big Sister Local Service, The UWCSEA Dover Global Concerns Committee, TribesforGOOD, Do Good Foundation, and Samvedna Trust. Even within the boundaries of her school, Vidhi’s commitment to her peers is best demonstrated through her positive attitude and positions such as a Representative for the UWCSEA Dover Boarding Open Day and the Lead Student Facilitator for UWCSEA Dover Admissions.
Vidhi is a natural leader who has time and again displayed her penchant for the ability to lead by example and inspire others. Since November 2023, she has been the Chair of the Boarding House Council, and is also a Co-Chair for the I-India GC, a Leader for the Orientation Team, the Head of Organization for the Leavers Night Planning Committee, a Leader for India Dover Voices, and the Service Leader for the Hindi Home Languages Program.
Rhea Khosla, a co-founder of Be the Change, is a Grade 12 student enrolled in the ISC curriculum, taking up the subjects Accounts, Economics, Commerce, Mathematics, and English. She holds a deep interest in the field of finance and looks forward to pursuing it further in college.
Raised by parents who consistently encourage her to push her boundaries, Rhea has been empowered with the belief that every girl deserves equal opportunities. She is a fervent advocate for promoting financial literacy among young women, viewing it as a necessity rather than a luxury.
In her leisure time, Rhea enjoys reading, painting, and exploring.
